한 세대를 주름잡았던 배우 타일러 위크가 자살을 한다.
그를 죽음으로 몰고간 것은 머나라는 여인.
타일러는 머나를 위해 대저택을 선사했으나 머나는 타일러를 배반하고 해리 게이트와 결혼을 한다.
비극의 시간이 흐른 뒤 해리로부터 대저택을 상속받은 게이트 일가가 이사해 온다.
그러나 첫날부터 게이트의 아름다운 딸 로빈은 불량배의 표적이 된다.
한편 로빈의 부모는 저택상속 문제로 재판에 참석하기 위해 집을 비우게 되고 저택에는 로빈과 그녀의 오빠 스코트만이 남는다.
